Avmax is happy to announce our Engineering Division has completed the following STC solutions which are now available:
STC SA16-52 iss 1 Title: Passenger Seat Substitution Description: This modification substitutes entire shipsets of specified passenger seat models between DHC-8-100/200/300 airframes in specified type-designated seating configurations. Applicable seat models include the 910 Series (PTC), Jepson Burns 86968 Series, and 935 Series. Seat models are not allowed to be mixed on any single aircraft. The modification does not approve new seat cushions or dress covers. Neither the seats nor the aircraft structure are modified. This modification is only applicable at this time to aircraft which, before and after modification, are in a standard 37 passenger (DHC-8-100/200) or 50 passenger (DHC-8-300) seating configuration. Seat pitch is not changed by the modification. Aircraft Type: Bombardier DHC-8-100/200/300
FAA STC ST03692NY – to accompany our existing TCCA STC SA15-103 Title: Installation of FANS-1/A+ Provisions Description: This modification installs the provisions for the future Collins FANS-1/A+ system in the CRJ series aircraft. The future FANS-1/A+ system will provide an air-to-ground digital data communication which integrates with the Global Positioning System It will exchange data with data link service providers (DSPs) via Satellite Communications (Satcom) and VHF Communications. Aircraft Type: Bombardier CL-600-2B19 (regional Jet Series 100 & 440)
EASA STC 10058371 – To accompany our existing STCs SA14-48 & FAA STC ST03472NY Title: Cabin LED Lighting System Description: Replaces incandescent lighting with LED lighting in the cabin of the aircraft. Aircraft Type: DHC-8-100/200/300
C-LSA16-071/D Title: 37 -39 Passenger Seat Conversion Description: Converts a Bombardier DHC-8-100 from 36 or 37 Seats to 39 Seats. Aircraft Type: DHC-8-103
EASA STC 10058474 – To accompany out Existing STCs SA15-19 & FAA STC ST03566NY Title: Seat Cushion & Dress Cover Replacement Description: This modification replaces the cushions & dress covers on passenger seats and flight attendant seats installed on a DHC-8-100/200/300 Aircraft. Aircraft Type: DHC-8-100/200/300
